 What are Heavy Duty tarpaulin covers?

Heavy Duty tarpaulin covers are prepared from polythene or cotton canvas and the main purpose of the Heavy Duty tarpaulin cover is to act as a protective material.  It provides a good protection from rain, dust hail and winds.

Various uses of Heavy Duty tarpaulin:

These covers can be used for a variety of purposes. Some of them are the following:

 Construction covers: Construction covers are used for protecting the cement from being washed away. They generally comprise of a huge sheet of polythene. In some cases, small pieces of polythene are stitched together so that a larger sheet is formed. They are extensively used while a terrace is made. A terrace should be water resistant. For this,  covers are of great importance (while making terrace). They are laid over the iron rods on which cement is laid. This provides extra protection to people who reside beneath this shelter.
